Updated
DRAFT — to be reviewed by the site owner / counsel before launch.
Who we are
HVAC Indianapolis (hvacindianapolis.org) is a homeowner information site. We connect homeowners with independent local HVAC pros; we are not a contractor.
What we collect
When you submit a request we collect the problem type, ZIP code, name, phone, email, preferred contact time, your consent, the page you submitted from, and technical data such as IP address and browser user agent (used for spam prevention). We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions.
How we use it
We use your information to pass your request to one or more independent HVAC providers serving your area, who may contact you by phone, text or email about it. We do not sell your information to data brokers.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare (hosting, security and data storage) and an email delivery provider (Resend) to process requests.
Retention
[PLACEHOLDER: retention period] We keep request records only as long as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
To ask us to access or delete your information, or to stop being contacted, email [PLACEHOLDER: privacy contact email]. Independent providers who contact you have their own privacy practices.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date below.
